Brooklyn, NYC

Last month I visited the amazing photographer Johanna Siring in her Brooklyn studio for a portrait session. Usually I tend to feel most comfortable behind the camera, but I must say she did a good job making me relax in front of her lens. All in all it was an enjoyable experiment.

Johanna is an experienced photographer who's been collaborating with quite a good selection of media and brands, including The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Vice, i-D, Maybelline, Coca Cola, The North Face, H&M, Samsung, Red Bull and Warner Music. I really admire Johanna's body of work, both in fashion photography as well as other more personal projects.

I recommend checking out her portfolio at

Ed Sheeran

This month has been a rollercoaster of emotions, not knowing for certain what the future would be like for my employer GAFFA Norge. Still I am so pleased and happy to see my interview with Ed Sheeran get a two page spread (+ frontpage) in Dagbladet, in addition to my photos from the shoot in Oslo in January being published in both Dagbladet and VG. The two largest newspapers in Norway.

My portrait of Sheeran was also featured in GAFFA (Norway, Denmark and Sweden), Aftonbladet (Sweden), MTV (Finland) and Entertainment Tonight (Canada).

It is always a great pleasure for me to see other artists interpret some of my photos and draw inspiration from my work. Today I received an e-mail from the british illustrator and photographer James D. Robinson who's been creating some amazing illustrations of the Norwegian singer AURORA - based on one of my photos of her.

Check out the illustration here - and be sure to visit James' website to see more of his art.
